A lot has changed in the Eppler household in the last month, not the least of which has been the size of my belly! I am officially feeling like a real-life pregnant lady with a bump to show for it. Here are some photos of my bump at 19 weeks and 22 weeks to illustrate my point.

We had our 20 week Ultra Sound on April 22nd. As soon as we got into the room, Kris made sure to tell the technician that we did NOT want to know the gender, so she was very careful to refer to our little peanut as "Baby" rather than "He" or "She". It was really fun to see our little peanut moving around again. We got a few more waves, a few foot shots and some pretty good profile photos. Everything is looking perfectly healthy and happy inside there and despite the size of my belly, our baby was weighing in at 13 oz in April. I'd say by now, we've likely crossed into the 1-lb range!

Aside from all of this growing, we've been making some home updates too! Kris painted our downstairs bathroom with some color inspiration from John Edward's boycave. We found a pretty awesome dresser at the Goodwill for $30 that needed a bit of love and some of Kris's spray painting magic - and we officially have a dresser for all the guests who will come to see our new addition this fall. Next up on the home projects includes finishing the landscaping around the perimeter of the house and painting the nursery. With a full docket of projects, we have been pumped that the days have been getting longer and warmer.

Last weekend, we got a visit from Gramma - all the way from the big PA. She really helped us get our life in order, providing insight on plant selection, paint colors and mini blinds. We had a really fun day checking out every aisle at the Babies R'US with Oma. Baby Eppler is sure lucky to have two pretty fabulous grandmas to meet this fall.
Tune in next time when we show off some of our landscape selections!
